Miceala Morano (she/her/hers) is a journalist and writer from the Arkansas Ozarks. Miceala is currently serving as the Bob and Ruth Shipley Honors College Fellow at the University of Arkansas, where she is working towards a B.A. in Journalism with a concentration in Multimedia Production and Storytelling. 

Her journalistic work is published in the University of Arkansas' award-winning student newspaper, the Arkansas Traveler. She covers local nonprofits, arts and culture, activism and advocacy movements and the Fayetteville housing crisis.

She was the co-editor-in-chief of the tenth edition of The Diamond Line, the University of Arkansas' undergraduate literary magazine.

Her literary work appears in Up The Staircase Quarterly, Berkeley Fiction Review, Kissing Dynamite Poetry, Gone Lawn, Pidgeonholes, and more. Her work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions and recognized by the University of Arkansas, the Poetry Society of The United Kingdom, the Alliance of Young Artists and Writers, Ringling College of Art and Design and more.
